The work continues....

On January 12, 2010 a 7.0 earthquake devastated Port-au-Prince and some outlying areas. Immediately our director,Max Delices, sprang into action helping people in the Christ Roi neighborhood. Although our building collapsed, Max was able to retrieve some food and first aid supplies, set up in the courtyard and continued our 21 year history of ministering to the needs of the people. Bishop Cote of the Diocese of Norwich is supporting our efforts to recover and rebuild our services to the people of Christ Roi.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Lent is the perfect time to do something for Haiti!  Some suggestions:

  • have a soup and bread supper or a rice and beans supper - at your home or at church.  Have people donate the cost of a "regular" meal.
  • have a fast with your Youth Group - people can donate so much per hour
  • organize a skate-a-thon, a rock-a-thon (rocking chairs) or any "a-thon"
