Seeking highly motivated and committed Hospitality Services Director in Port Au Prince, Haiti. www.HospiceSaintJoseph.org Hospice St. Joseph is a ministry of the Diocese of Norwich, CT committed to working hand in hand with our Haitian brothers and sisters in pursuit of a better life through our hospitality, education and health care services.
The Hospitality Director is primarily responsible for the International Guests Program which offers room, board, hospitality and networking opportunities to over 300 visitors each year seeking service opportunities in Haiti and the Guests from the Provinces Program; which affords accommodations and medical advocacy for patients from the rural provinces seeking treatment in Port-au-Prince or awaiting medical visas for travel to the United States.
Required
- Written and spoken fluency in English and Creole
- Background in Health care
- Computer proficiency including Excel, Microsoft Word
- Willing to live on-site at HSJ in Port au Prince part time
- Working knowledge in US bookkeeping practices
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of an international team
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle (standard shift and automatic)
